We value the health of our staff. We would like to encourage staff to keep fit and to feel well.

Policy:

 

Staff shall be asked their opinions as to health promotional activities for the practice team members. This shall be discussed every six months as part of the agenda of practice meetings.

 

Health includes mental as well as physical health.

 

A budget of up to $2000 per annum (total) is available to pay for health promotional activities for staff. It is primarily intended that this be used to fund counselling, psychotherapy or other physical or mental health activities for which it is otherwise difficult to obtain funding though any other suggestions will be considered on their merits. Access to this fund is entirely at the discretion of the financial director.

 

Smoking and vaping is prohibited on the premises (including the grounds).

Staff are not permitted to smoke or vape within sight of the premises.
